Where did you get the foam helmate templates? Can you add the templates you used in the description?

The templates that I used got taken down, but any foam dome template should work for the dome.

what did you use to coat the helmet?

I used wood glue to strengthen and reinforce the helmet, spackle to smooth out the seams and mirror chrome spray paint to give it the metallic look.

@@e.a.andico8497 yeah, I’ve used thin foam to make a few helmets, the seams are just harder to hide since you can’t sand it very well.

Awesome Job! If you don't mind me asking, what templates did you use for the dome on the top?

I used William Jakespeare’s foam helmet template, he sells them in his Etsy store(he used to have them for free, which is how I have mine). I would suggest using the dome portion of Punished Props Boba Fett helmet since it’s around the right shape of the Power Armor helmet, cause I had to do a lot of modifications to the templates I used to get the right shape.

A small nit pick, but can't you use paper mache for the dome? (I'm asking this question, because I want to make this helmet myself and I'm just thinking of this specific detail, whilst prepairing to make the helmet, btw huge fan)

Yeah you totally could and I have before, I just stopped cause the climate where I’m at is either super humid or freezing cold so the glue mixture didn’t like to dry fast at all.
