What about those thin lightweight tshirts ( I think they call them quick drying t-shirts)??? Can they be used in a quilt and if so how would I back them?

I've saved my HEART N SOLE t shirts for years and this was very good information. I DO want mine to be all the same direction tho...

When you say add a border what kind of material do you use. This video is really helpful. I'm getting ready to make one. Thank you

I am making a t-shirt quilt like yours and have added a two inch border. My granddaughter has picked a small cotton print for the backing. I'm wondering about using a batting. The squares are 12 inches. I had planned to sew around each square to quilt it but I'm not sure that will work since there would be 12 inches between quilt lines. Please advise me.
