Looks like a great build. I will use this as a format to build one for my miter saw. As far as glue, paint and nicad batteries, I store them in a back room in my house in the winter.

Hi , for the screws that hold the saw on the table , I would recommend machine screws with nut and washer underneath.

Great video. This stand looks much better than all the expensive ones out there. I would love to make this one. Were the plans for this (measurements, etc) ever posted? Would love those! Thanks

Good job, Mitch! That will work great. I totally agree with you on the larger casters...I put some larger ones on my workbench a little while back, and I've never regretted it.

+Bruce A. Ulrich thanks Bruce. Where did you get your larger casters? I like the ones you put on your lathe cart build.

Made by Mitch So far, those are my favorite. I believe they’re made by Hillman, but the only place locally I’ve ever found them is at Home Depot. They are the double locking ones. For some reason, the ones with the twist lock like you have just don’t lock right for me. I could have all 4 locked and the bench would still scoot around. Those I mentioned are not a bad price...about $9 at HD. Cheaper than any online places I’ve found with the same quality.

+Bruce A. Ulrich gotcha. I will check there. Yea mine tend to scoot around when the are locked. I'm definitely gonna upgrade sooner that I thought. Thanks.

How much larger did you go? I was surprised to see how ineffective 2" casters are, wondering if 3" are even enough!?

Videos are great! Great pace and explanation. You have fun with the problems that arise. All good! I want to be like you when I get better at video! I like the drawer you added, definitely takes advantage of the space at the bottom. Keep it up.

So I have a old table saw and the hood on the bottom is busted but it has a extension added to both sides and is a bit longer on one side than the other. I have been just setting this heavy contraption on sawhorses while using it but I am looking for a more solid work foundation for it. Any advice or plans I might could copy off of? Also, I am very new to the wood shop/furniture making hobby and my tools are slightly limited; but again any help would be appreciated. It's a 10 inch black n decker firestorm table saw like I said with extensions on each side
