How to make a tails down hair bow using a template

You are the first person that I have come across that uses these templates consistently

Possibly I have dyspraxia and they are a great tool for keeping my makes consistent especially when I'm not 100% focused x

So if I want to use a 4 inch ribbon I use a a 3.5 template

Think along these lines Biggest ribbon I use it 3" ribbon which is 7cm / 75mm I use 7" -9" templates for this size ribbon For 2 " ribbon = 5cm - 50mm I used 5"-7" templates For 1.5" ribbon = 4cm -38mm I used 3" to 6" templates For 1" ribbon = 2.5cm -25mm I used 2.5" to 3.5" templates All template tutorials are fun in that you can play around with templates sizes until bow is size you like small sizes will give more tight square look Mid size will give circular look and larger size give more loop flared look And you don't need to have measurements for each style long as you wrap round templates to match tutorial then cut and measurement length x Hopefully that makes senses sense Watch the templates tutorial playlist the more you watch the more it will make sense x

Hello, so if you were to 4 inch template with 1 inch ribbon, how much ribbon would you need to make this bow? I love your tutorials especially with 1 inch ribbon 😊

If you follow tutorial and wrap on roll until sit the same way you can work out how much extra ribbon but really depends on how long you like your tails x

Just a curious question. Is there are particular reason that u wrap the center before u put the knot on? I’m asking bc I’ve not ever done it this way. Just wondering. I may have just been skipping this step all these years 🤣

You can just do knotted centre I just like added security of wrapping center as I would normally first Bit like me not covering clips whatever works best for you x
