It didn't even require two weeks to flatten that curve. Good work.😂

Power tools will take away your connection to the earth in the process of making these tools! Your doing it right! Very Good , demonstrate strength, and knowledge of the well, and confident man! Excellent examples for the youth to see!

Thank you. So true, power tools are taking away the whole "human mistake factor" and the the project isn't such a fun challange. Best regards from Slovenia.

I really like the little bits of comedy you add in these videos
@howtomakeweapons73532 жыл бұрын
Thank you. The comedy stuff is never planed, it's just a part of the whole project and where there is fun, there is also some comedy ;-). Best regards from Slovenia.

Batoning a folding knife like that is a sure way to completely destroy the lock on it. If you absolutely must baton a folding knife do it with the blade half-way closed so the knife makes and L shape and strike only the blade. This prevents damage to the lock. Doing this you need to keep the diameter of the wood small enough that both ends of the blade extend past the edges of the wood.

Thank you for showing me a better way to deal with a folding knife. This is the great thing about KZbin, learning never stops. Best regards from Slovenia.

All have ability, learning how to use it may not be so easy to find, these days. *Thanks!* looks fun to try. All carry the Most *Simplest of Tools, TRUTH;* Easy to use, Priceless, and *Powerful Ammo; Share the Wealth.*

It's pretty wild to think ancient people figured out how to catch dinner with a wing . Hundreds of years later we fly the skies using the same shape but bigger and thrown by rocket science.😂

So true! If my surviving would depend on this kind of stuff, I would be dead in 14 days :-). Best regards from Slovenia.

Throw it closer to the ground and parallel to the ground, it will go more steady.

What is the range and/or accuracy advantage of this over a "simple stick" ?
@RobertLisac Жыл бұрын
Good question. Close rangre probably no difference, but it flies much farther.

The balance when in the air, the longer end adds a shit tonne of impact when the shorter end comes around to strike the target. Regular stick isn’t shaped to carve through air either

Oldest known boomerang in the world came out of a cave in Poland and was made of mammoth ivory.
@howtomakeweapons73532 жыл бұрын
True and it's amazing. I saw it as well on internet and that thing must fly in a awesome way, beside that it is made from a great material. Best regards from Slovenia. Ps. But you're not from Poland?
@Leonated Жыл бұрын
I think the airfoils on the opposing ends of the boomerang are supposed to be turned the other way. Otherwise one end of the boomerang will always have the airfoil moving in the wrong direction, and there won't be lift, but turbulence.
@Leonated Жыл бұрын
But I do think your craftsmanship is very good, so if you make another one with opposite airfoils, I think it will be really effective
@RobertLisac Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your opinion. There are for sure many ways to make a boomerang. I saw many designs, also one that you have mentioned. What I have found is, that smaller boomerangs (like this one in the video) are flying much better and a greater distance. Do you have a link, where your opinion is shown ina graphic way?
@cagedraptor3 жыл бұрын
the title reminded me of an old joke. What do you call a boomerang that doesn't come back? Answer: a stick
@howtomakeweapons73533 жыл бұрын
Ha ha, this is a good one! Happy new year and best regards from Slovenia! ... and at the end, every boomerang is just a flat stick, so there is some truth to it.

Please go get yourself a fixed blade knife. Watching you baton with that dull gerber was painful not to mention dull knives are super dangerous

You need a sharper saw. A guy could ride to Boston on those rounded teeth. Courtesy of Half Vast Flying
