I have my music distributed to all major stores like Spotify, Amazon, Apple Music and host of others. So my question is do I still have to open a Spotify account since I already have my music distributed all those stores ?

You have to have a normal account on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, Deezer, Tidal, etc... that will serve as the account that “secures” the artist’s profile. Remembering that the artist profile will not join your customer/listener profile, they will be two different things.

I had to update my tiktok and then I went to my settings and searched for Artist Account and I filled out the application. When you do they want a screen shot of your artist spotify account and your distribution company, like distrokid, tune core, ect. If you just send them logos or like pictures of cover art they will automatically deny you. Hope this helps
