Thank you very much for the tut. Love the voice, enthusiasm and precise instructions. There's only one part where I'm not sure. She said that the usual trifold is 11 x 8.5 but she created an 11.93 x 8.503. I thought the bleed was taking in consideration there for an 8.5 x 11. My trifold came up to be almost 12 inches wide with only 6 mm of bleed. Am I missing something ?

I have this exact question, as well. What is the purpose of 11.95" width for an 11" paper? Almost an inch off seems problematic. Could she have possibly meant 11.05" to add a slight overage like the 8.503" height measurement? If so, does that mean all the vertical guidelines would all be off, too? Curious if anyone has tried with the values provided and can confirm if they ran into issues or not. Thanks!

Nevermind, just answered my own question. All the vertical guideline numbers will have to be recalculated to use a 11.05" width.

did you create the inside of the brochure in a new document? I did not quite understand that moment. Also, how do you print them together? Would really appreciate your answer

Make a new document in another tab. And print out and inside elements in same paper front and back.

just asking... is it okay to use photoshop for printed material? why not use illustrator or indesign?

As she said in the video, using Photoshop is fine when you don't have the other options. She is just showing how to do the same thing in Photoshop. InDesign shines best in multiple page projects like magazines and books which would be near impossible for Photoshop or Illustrator.

Is this the right way to design a brochure....bec people always say for brochures you should use ILLUSTRATOR or INDESIGN....because in photoshop the text and small fonts dont come out sharp and like vector in brochures. I like to design in photoshop only bec who has time to learn illustrator and indesign. Is it ok to professionally use photoshop to design brochures for customers ? Or should we only be using AI and ID.
