There any many videos showing the turkshead knot, most of which require you to learn and understand the 3D aspects of the knot. This video needs only 2 dimensional thinking and suddenly I understand this knot. Great works guys and thanks

This is very interesting, I have never seen it done with all the pegs just on one side of the board. I personally am more familiar with Globe Knot or Turks Head Cookbook, by Don Burrhus. I recently did a book review on this in my KZbin channel. Great video guys!

The board works but if you really learn the knot you gain tie very large knots on your fingers or hand in either even or odd bight form. This includes interweaves and globe knots. Practice and paying attention to the patterns/sequences. Jigs help with learning but one may not have one when needing to make one or tying on an object you can’t access the ends like a ship’s wheel or railing.

You probably already figured this out, however if not instead of making it really long you can put pegs on both sides of the board.

It might be me, but the last horizontal crossing is the same as the second last horizontal crossing. You were always checking the horizontal crossings previous to the one you were about to do and proceeded to do the opposite. Was the last horizontal run suppose to be the same as the second last? Thanks

No, it's not only you! I have the same question. I believe that the first time, 13:15, the last horizontal is done wrong. The next time, 21:36, it is done correctly. If I am right, I find this very disappointing! Not that a mistake is made, but that it is not admitted to and corrected. If I am wrong, I apologize.
