HOW TO MAKE A VINTAGE POSTAGE STAMP ALBUM TO STORE YOUR BITS 'N BOBS

Hi guys, let's use the pretty faux stamp catalogue pages that we made yesterday to make an actual postage stamp album. This was a huge project because I had never made one before, but I am very happy with the end result.

My beautyful Snowwhite turned blind at 17, it took a very few ajustment from ME to insure, that she kept being a happy cat. She knew what to do, I strugled 😅. She lived to to her 20th year. And she have been the easiest senior cat (out of 5) Ive ever had. They simply just figure it out and uses all their other magnificient senses to compensate. Its jawdropping to observe them - they just do and live to the fullest 🎉 😊 Greetings from Denmark ❤

I live in Ohio USA, and we have below freezing temperatures more than half the year. So art glitter glue would freeze and be ruined. I craft 90-95% of the time away from home and keep large amount of supplies in my van. To not have to remember to take glue in house iI just started buying "Bart" Bearly art glue. Love this book video!

Wow, Margareth! This is an absolutely beautiful project, and I loved watching your process. You executed your ideas so well. For the brads, you can use a hammer to gently tap the legs down right where they split, so that they will lay flatter. (Need the foam under them so that the top of the brad won't dent.) i had to go back and listen to make sure you had actually said "MacGyver on speed dial"......Love your personality and your projects and videos. I will have to try to make one of these. I have never been fortunate to find an old stamp book in a thrift store, but I do have, however, the "grid" embossed glassine from a cannibalized vintage scrap book that I have had in my stash for probably 10 years. It turned out beautiful. It amazes me how you can just come up with these things on camera without doing a trial run first. As for the difference in distress ink and distress oxides. The inks are just a water based ink. The oxides are a combination of a ink and pigment. The pigments will sit on top of the papers and the other inks allowing them to be layered. The inks will not layer on top of other inks as they don't have the pigments in them. The pigments in the oxide inks also give them a creamer look than the inks alone. Hope that helps
