How to make a wallet out of cork | Vegan Leather Wallet

In this video I will be showing to make a wallet out of cork. The cork is fabric backed and seems to be sturdy, but only time will tell. Since it is not made of leather like most of my wallets, this one is vegan. Cork which is a renewable resource which one tree can be harvested multiple times in its life span.
The wallet was all hand stitched and can be made with very few tools.
This was a change of pace from other projects and was fun.

I have a laser and I can tell you that cork lasers beautifully, I’ve monogrammed and added Bible verses and other personalization on it. Works great!

My wife makes purses out of this cork fabric. They hold up very nicely. I’m going to rob her scrap pile and see what i can find to work with. And make a wallet for myself.

I think that the cork fabric is very nice, but it annoys me less that it is too plastic, not as stiff as leather. If they made a more rigid material, I'd take it right away :D
