Step 1: Choose a name for your website
First of all, head over to hackeryogi.com... and choose a name for your website. We recommend choosing a name that is short and easy to read, say and remember.
Once you have found an available name, you can proceed to the next step.
Step 2: Get Hosting and Domain Name
The next step after choosing a name for your website is to get a domain name and hosting.
The domain name is your website’s address on the internet. For example, the domain name of Google is “google.com”.
Web hosting is a computer where you can store your website’s files (documents, images, videos, etc.) to make it available to other users on the internet.
Click the "Get Hosting and Domain" button to go to SiteGround, where we'll be hosting our website.
Step 3: Set Up Your Website
After you’ve bought your domain name and set up your hosting, it’s time to get your website up and running. This can be done by installing the WordPress website platform on your domain.
Wordpress is a website platform that will allow you to create your website without knowing any programming language quickly.
Step 4: Customize Your Website
Once you have successfully installed WordPress on your domain, you’ll get a very basic site. To differentiate it from everyone else, you will need a theme which basically tells WordPress how your website should look.
