Finally someone talking and explaining it. I am making me one. Rather takes me 2 or 3 tries. lol. I give up on it for the night. I think I'm making it harder then it is. Ugh. Mine is too tight too tiny.

I think you need to multiply. So going from 21 cm to 25 cm is approximately an increase of 1/5, making the new size 120% the size of the original. Then the smaller pieces need to be increased at the same ratio, meaning they need to be a little about 8.3 or 8.4 cm. That's what I would try first. Best of luck!

@Ridesabroom I figured this one out based on an easy size to cut with the supplies I had. If you multiply my measurements all by the same amount, it should be scalable, but I haven't tried it. Good luck!

I´m really grateful about your video, you're clear!! Now I have a little question, If I wanna make a mandala bigger, (I use centimeters as measure unit in my country) I have to increase one or two centimeters per each piece? If the largest pieces are about 21 cm I would like to increase until 25 cm, and using that logic the other little pieces are about 7 cm, I have to increase until 12 cm? Thanks once again!!!

@sana0116 With the measurements I use, it is too small. A little math to make it bigger (the inside hoop needs to be large enough to fit on your wrist like a bangle), and you should be good to go.

It's designed to be a puzzle but can be used as jewellery - I have 3 - one is a pendant and two are really large that I can play with. It tells the story of the universe and all things in it and you an change it one of the shapes in the story - at the end it's a lotus flower. It's also used for healing if using crystals / semi precious stones for the beads. Check out the bottom section of this site which explains it:.wiretoy1.com

Have you found copper to be too pliable and bend when using the mandala? Or are there varying qualities and the several kinds I've tried just not been the right quality? Thank you :)
@CamilleSharon
@CamilleSharon Жыл бұрын
I actually never use it for meditation. I treat it as decoration. You can try a different hardness, or a different metal. I have a mandala like this that my sister bought for me in Prague 30 years ago or more. It is made from steel wire. I image steel is a lot more difficult to bend and will make your fingers hurt to work with, but it will probably hold up better to manipulation. I find I don't like to touch the steel as much as I like to touch copper or silver, though. Since I make a lot of jewelry, I used the supplies I had at hand.
@FolkyPolky27
@FolkyPolky27 Жыл бұрын
@@CamilleSharon you are correct in the steel wire being more difficult and painful to work with 😅 Thank you for your reply; it makes sense that you use yours with the more pliable metals for decoration.
