We miss pagan happy hour. My wife and I miss it. I hope all is well.
Idk why but this is probably the first time in almost a year that I watched a pagan happy hour and I'm an absolute plant nerd! I just moved and all of a sudden it's like "oh wait I can come back out of the broom closet now that my judgey roommate isn't here anymore"

This is my first year of growing my own indoor garden and also accepting my true path. Most of what I've been growing are herbs for medicinal teas and also spiritual use. I also have a lovely Asterisk Ivy and a Venus flytrap (which has been the hardest one for me.) It's been a fantastic journey! ❤️

Greetings Scarlet Ravenswood. I just watched the Wiccan Paganism interview and wanted to share with you my research on the Witches of Old. To share this knowledge is in neutral way. I can relate to the Witches of Old as a peace seeking person. I did enjoy this connection between the beliefs and views of Wiccan and Pagan. Most people have no idea of the Witches of Old. The Witches of Old were spiritual women (without religion). They were wise women. They had long gathered knowledge of plants, herbs, roots and the application of that knowledge. Yes The Witches of Old would meditate in deep contemplation with "The Great Goddess" known to us as the Creation or The Universe. So much so they felt connected to the flowing life energy within themselves, could connect with the cosmic energy and could let this energy flow through them and have a healing effect on others. They lived a form of spirituality that had not been possible in the frozen and male-dominated structures of the church for centuries. Witches knew how to prevent or avoid pregnancy when desired. So there was knowledge - spread all over the world, by the way - of the effectiveness of certain plants which - for example, processed into tea and administered to women - prevented conception for several years. (DeMeo has also compiled interesting historical and ethnological material on this subject). Witches never aligned to any evil acts or had anything to do with a so-called devil. Never cast spells or made charms. They were peaceful women. There was no Gods of War. Gods of War is a Norse belief. All negative lore comes from the church of old. Knowledge is power and power needs people to rule over. Having this knowledge of how to prevent conception was a real problem to the church of old. So they labeled them satanical, aligned with evil forces. Witches of Old were hunted down and destroyed in unmentionable ways. This knowledge was pushed underground passed from women to women of many cultures. There are those who know this but they are few and far between. This is an excellent example of the "Dark Ages". To undermine knowledge that had taken hundred's of years to acquire by these women denied the human race. The Witches of Old believed that the evolution of consciousness was the path to peace. Women bare the future of mankind, suffer the most during conflict and much unnecessary pressure's are put on women. All people are equal but women are still treated as less than equal. In the years to come women will play a much greater role bringing Peace on Earth. That is unless men destroy our home, our beautiful Earth through war which is devoid of any substance of value. This next statement should be taken into consideration. There is a danger in collecting crystals. All crystals, semi-crystals, gemstones and semi-precious stones as well as various minerals of Earth are recipients and transmitters of human emotional impulses and thought energies. Depending on their type, they store less or more of these energies, which are discharged onto their owners in a concentrated manner again and influence them to a great extent. These negative forces were created, and are further developed every second, by the tremendous negative thought energies of , which through human heresies and many negativities put the whole world under the spell of spoiling and dangerous radiations. Cleansing this negative energy can be achieved by the use of a copper pyramid or running water but that must be repeated every time before using crystals. "Peace through Wisdom".

I have a moon/faerie garden, where I place offerings. But then I have native magickal plants in all of my garden beds- even with the veggies.
@junipercrow35352 жыл бұрын
I planted out a native pollinator/wildlife/bird garden in my front flower bed this spring. I deliberately chose NOT to research uses of the plants beyond how they support wildlife because this garden is my offering to the spirits of my place and the natural world. I planted it as a way to support healing of the earth in my suburban neighborhood. So that kind of planting has become a part of my magical pagan practice.

To be honest I live halfway up a valley wall in Wales, very wet place and green. We have oak trees and a small orchard, and 9 dogs and 3 cats. We tend to leave the garden as it is. The Goddess decides what grows there and she does a great job. We've got so many birds and animals coming into the garden it is brilliant. We grow some vegetables in the greenhouse.

I know I’m 2 years late for this podcast, but planting for pollinators is extremely important. As cities and towns grow, pollinators are losing their habitats. Much of what we call weeds are actually important to certain pollinators. Even having a square yard or meter, and not mowing it. Let weeds, grass, wildflowers grow naturally in that small area. Just a small area like that can make a huge difference. Our lives depend on pollinators.

Dear Scarlet and Family. Right around the time I started interacting with you all online my apartment/shop ended up getting robbed. I believe they were targeting my Crystal Candles and gemstone collection. Because of this I have been very skeptical of some of the people I had recently been talking to which happens to include all of you. All in all I guess I'm reaching out to see if anyone else in your group has had these types of problems this summer. There's some issues in this area regarding Peganism and I guess I represent things in a similar way as you and in this way I wondered if you all too had issues.
