Not in this case. This time the key of the illusion is the brace that supports the plank. In fact it covered by black fabric and the illusion of the levitation is created by the fact that the illusionist's pants are black too so when he stays in the middle his real leg hides the fake one.

the true key to the trick is just standing still because of the small gaps above the third leg…once he moves you can make out the gaps if you look close enligh thankfully by that time the audience is too busy looking at the magician and assistant than at the plank and chairs
