Make something like this Fleur-De-Lis out of wood and surprise a friend, neighbor, parent, wife or stranger with a beautiful gift that they will always cherish.
If you've ever been to New Orleans or seen a picture of New Orleans the Fleur-De-Lis has definitely made an appearance. It has been used as a decorative design on anything from fences, coasters, candlesticks, the New Orleans Saints logo, and even New Orleans trash cans. This all stems back from New Orleans' huge French influence when Catholic Saints of France were depicted with the Fleur-De-Lis on their staffs and cloaks.
