I just want to say, I've tried multiple times to make web pages on wordpress and always get frustrated and give up while it looks like crap...This video was perfect for me and was a massive help in getting my website to finally start looking legit. Hi!. I have set the site with the font "barrio" and now that font has dissapear from the list. I ave refreshed the google font list and save and so , but that font is still gone. The site maintain the font as long as i dont change any setting on posts or anything that i have use that font, but i need to make changes and once i do it all the font changes as well. Hi Andrea, If the uploading of theme was successful but the builder wont turn on try the following: 1. Try using another browser i.e Chrome 2. Clear your history, cache and cookies, retest the builder 3. Disable/deactivate all your other plug-ins, retest. Cheers, Hogan

Within the theme, I don't think there is a way to put a post excerpt under the categories section. You mean the sidebar right? But one idea, might be to download/install and activate the TinyMCE plugin (en-au.wordpress.org/plugins/tinymce-advanced/) - and then you can add that TinyMCE widget there. And then you can try to recreate the categories and link it to your category pages and manually type the excerpt you wish.

Awesome video! I just finished my website and am very impressed with it. During the last minute of the video you are changing the header to make it more visible on mobile devices...Instead of an image and text here, I chose to insert a large logo image (it has text) here. You should not add a logo image as the background of a row. It won’t show well on small and very large screens. Instead please insert an Image Module and insert your logo into the row using the image module. For your second question. I am not sure what you mean. You can do two things 1) I recommend this first, is to just zoom out a bit on your browser to say 90% or 80% (I use Google Chrome, but I think all should have this function) 2) Go to Dashboard > Themify Ultra > Themify Settings > Theme Settings > Responsive Design > And you can set it manually. Hi Hogan, this is great. I had everything correct, and wanted to do some fine tuning. So I went to the contact page and decided to try get the map a bit more accurate, so I turned on the builder went to edit and inserted my GPS co-ordinates. Well instead of a South African map I ended up on the Australian Map New South Wales. I have been back through your instructions 3 time, I deleted the map completely, saved the blank line. Dropped a new map box, entered my address instead of the GPS co-ordinates. Saved, no map, went to themify ultra got the new google api and saved it. Guess want the Australian map came up again. I am desperate for help regarding a HTTP Error 500 'page isn't working / currently unable to handle request' message (now I can't access the dashboard, only the functions.php file!) after trying to add some code to the functions file to change the 'excerpt' amount and the [..] read more area on the blog section. After updating the page, it showed the error message, so I was able to go back, delete the added code I put in (reverting it back to original) and update again. However, it still showed the error message! PLEASE HELP! I have been working on the site for weeks and I had just about finished! I have backed up my site via the host. Hi Ephesia, Absolutely! This theme is completely SEO Friendly; I use it for my own sites. Google will still pick up all your content, even if you add text using the “Text” Module instead of the default WordPress text editor. You can right click your page, view source and check to find your content in the html. That means Google can read it. But of course, you need to have great content and properly optimize it for the keywords you want to rank for. I recommend using Yoast SEO (wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/) to help guide you in optimizing it. Cheers, Hogan WP Support

Hogan, Your Awesome. This is fantastic. You're a pro. You have an excellent speaking voice, you know exactly what to say with not a lot of gibberish. It is January 2018. While I have been following along with your tutorial in the background stopping and starting it has been easy. IDK if you are aware or not and you may have done it on purpose, but as I follow along, some of the adjustment you say, you don't do and my page then looks different than yours. This makes me have to search to correct this having me rewind the video to watch the setting you have done or find were it was you made the edit. While it is a bit frustrating, it is teaching me the different features of the builder. Also, I put the date in this post as the interface that you show is different than the one I see. Might be a different version or what have you and again I must try to find the feature you speak of. When adding text to the slider for instance, you have icons that you drop and drag at the bottom of the page. I do not and comes in the form of a menu in the left side of the screen. To anyone who wishes to do this from scratch exactly how Hogan is doing it, plan on spending the day with this as you gather images along with stopping and starting the tutorial. I have some experience with web design being an advanced beginner and it took me a little time to figure some things out. Hogan, To you sir, you have done an excellent job. I would expect to pay for a tutorial like this. Keep up the good work. Thank you again.
