Hi ,can you tell me what thread did you use to do the bracelet? is it pre-waxed or you wax yourself with beeswax? Is it durable to use cotton threads and wax it yourself? thanks for your time.
@melyannacrystalsАй бұрын
Hello, I'm using 1mm flat polyester waxed cord. I don't wax it my self. I have used waxed cotton thread, but again I did not wax it because I'm not familiar with the process and I thought buying it waxed it would give me a better result. And indeed both threads are durable and I never had any problems. The polyester one is waterproof as well, since the color does not fade. I really hope I helped! 🙏🏻

Thank you!! Are you able to tell me what length to make it for a small child sized bracelet??
@melyannacrystals Жыл бұрын
Hello! Thank you for being here! It depends on the age of the child actually. If you can not measure the wrist and palm circumference, I would recommend to look it up on Google or Pinterest. That's what I'm doing if I'm not sure. If you type "children's bracelet size chart" you will get a lot of results. For a child I would probably make the strings that make the bracelet adjustable 4 instead of 5 cm, so they are not too long. I really hope I've helped....if not please feel free to ask me again.

Hy, while I'm making the square knots the length it's getting twisted design .why so
@melyannacrystals Жыл бұрын
Hello! To my understanding you are not completing the square knot, so you are making half knots. I have a video on how to make a closure for bracelets, but I explain step by step how to make a square knot, I think it will help you. This is the link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sGa9Z3Ruia57p5Y Please let me know if it helped! 🙏🏻

Hello, I buy my cords locally. I don't know if they ship internationally, but maybe you can check out their site and find out. The site is: www.handromania.gr/

@@melyannacrystals the only question I have is, with the lengths mentioned in the description, roughly how long is the bracelet? It's always challenging to know how long you need to make it - I'll let you know how it goes :D
@melyannacrystals10 ай бұрын
@@tonyhart4691 Sorry it took so long to answer...KZbin is hiding the comments sometimes. With the dimensions given above you will be able to wrap a crystal that is approx. 2-2.5cm and and you will create a bracelet that opens up to around 23cm. So it has approx. 13cm inner circumference. I face the same challenges often and I experiment. I usually cut more string to be sure, since many times in the past I could not finish my bracelet or necklace. I hope I've helped!

Terlalu cepat videonya.... Mengikat talinya jadi bingung
@melyannacrystals5 ай бұрын
I'm sorry you find it fast. It's not a beginners tutorial, it combines two different techniques and I truly to not make the videos too long. Personally, if I find a video that is too fast for me, I reduce the speed in order to be able to follow it. 🙏🏻
