Crafts With Ellen

Күн бұрын

Making tools for yourself is always great, and I especially love it when I can combine different crafts. In this case, I decided that since I wanted to learn how to make a bowl, I might as well make a yarn bowl. Now I have a beautiful handmade bowl that will keep my yarn from rolling away while I knit. Using my forged knitting needles of course ;)

if leaving green wood overnight , put a damp sponge inside and cover with a damp clothe or leave the hollowing till the next day ,, it looks as if you are standing too close to the lathe ,lower your right hand and hold the handle into your hip , move your hip not your hand , breaking out on one side could be down to the wood warping or the lathe not being centred ,,Regards Alf ,,,, PS watch Tim Yoder's KZbin channel
