I, like yourself, struggle with the Xacto knife. Could you please give me the name of the one you are using? I didn't catch what you said. It does look like it would be a lot more comfortable to use. I got my craft knife, which was about $3, I believe, from Hobby Lobby. It has break away blades, so you can constantly have a sharp knife. The other thing I love is that the blades don't loosen up like Exacto brand does. That alone made me very upset...it was constant.
