Showing the flame is super helpful. I use electricity but it helps to get an idea of the target heat intensity.

Amazing video ! I love agedashi, it is also one of my favorite Japanese dish 😊 I never tried to make it because I thought that deep-frying silk tofu would be difficult because it is so delicate but it seems to be quite easy in fact ! Thanks for all the tips

Love agedashi dofu ,instead of shallow frying in a frying pan you can use a small sauce pan.

I always order Agedashi tofu when we go and eat at our Japanese restaurant,and they are always so tasty ,soft but crispy and crunchy .Do you use silken tofu or medium firm tofu? I found very soft tofu breaks easily! Eggplant is always delicious .Scallion ,ginger and daikon with chilli as relishes go well with the dishes.

That’s nice! Agedashi tofu is so popular😁 I use soft~medium firm tofu. I don’t use hard tofu to make agedashi tofu. You’re right. They are very good partners!
