Bakery Style Almond Cake
Ingredients for Cake Base:Butter as required
Almonds (half cut) as requiredAlmonds (crushed) as required
Ingredients for Cake:
Butter 200 g
Sugar 200 g
Vanilla essence 1 tspEggs 6All-purpose flour 200 gBaking powder 1/2 tbsp
Ingredients for Topping:Mixed fruit jam 1/2 cupHot water 2 tbsp
Directions for Cake Base Preparation:
1. In a cake mold brush butter. Place almonds on itand then sprinkle crushed almonds all over the cakemold. Refrigerate it for 15 mins.
Directions for Cake Preparation:
2. In a bowl add butter, sugar, vanilla essence andbeat it well. Add eggs gradually into it now and beat iwell.
3. Add flour, baking powder and fold it with thespatula.
4. Transfer it to the cake mold that was refrigeratedand bake it in a preheated oven at 170 degrees for40 _50mins.
5. Take it out and cut the uneven top. Invert the cakefacing the almond side on top.
Directions for Topping Preparation:
6. In a bowl add jam and hot water. Mix it well. Yourtopping is ready.
7. Pour this topping on the cake and serve. YourAlmond Cake is ready.
