Haha, frangipane. About 30 years ago my grandma bought richelieux. Two years ago, corona time fired up my cooking enthusiasm, I wanted to make a richelieux myself and heard about frangipane for the first time. Great video, as always. And thanks for reminding me of some good times many years back.

Love the recipe videos Julien. Id enjoy learning some tips + tricks for a Pastry chef/kitchen... maybe to do with Piping, Baking, decorating, the science behind a good pastry, or Tools you use to make jobs easier. just a thought!

OK, this is just weird. I made my pate sucree this morning and the dough is chilling in the fridge. I was taking a look for a different frangipane recipe and who popped up, Julien. I have some nectarines that I'm going to plunk in for a frangipane tart. You're the best !!!
