The ph of cp soaps should be around 7-8 if your using a proper recipe and ingredients... You cannot lower it more than that.

I have learnt cold process soap making the tutor told us not to use cold process soaps on face due to lye in it and pH will not be suitable to use on face (only body) is that true.. all these days we used market soaps then chemical free soap which we make at home how can they be harmful to skin .. this is my small doubt kindly plz reply to this..

Not at all... I have no idea who has given you this information but if you make cp soaps with a proper combination of nourishing oils and butters it is absolutely safe for use on face and body.

U can use either of them....but some liquid colors bleed in the soap so plz check on that before adding... Mica powders are more stable.
