In this video, I'm showing you how to make and assemble a leather spur strap with a concho, which add a little bit of trickiness. Main thing here is doing everything in order, and finish with your liner which will receive yours spur. If you have any question don't hesitate to ask me!

Hey fella great video ..umm question .every video i think iv seen .they all seam to use the back edge of te swivel blade and i notice you use the pointy side .does it not mater ? is it a perverance kind of thing?

Most of swivel knifes blade are straight, to usually you need to tip it a bit. The one I have has an extremely angled blade for small details, so you have to use the tip. Also this swivel knife is custom made, the blade swivel and not the body like usual, so it's a different way of using it all together

The thin leather that you put on the backside (lining), what is it called. Type, style weight? Thanks!!!

Hi, sorry for the late reply, it's a veg tan leather also, probably 4 to 5oz. You want it to have a bit of body to it so it can hold around the spur. If it's too thin, or too supple, it will not hold the stirrup in my experience
