Question..if you use a 3 inch wide piece of fabric and fold it this way, aren’t you getting a 3/4 inch strap, not a half inch strap?

Thanks so much Lori! Can this also be used as a way for making a pet leash except alter one end for a handle? Also, I think stronger cording and hardware probably would be needed depending on the size of the dog. But making your own leash would be so much cheaper I think than buying if you have all the supplies on hand. 🤷‍♀️

So I'm not really clear why you demonstrate with a slider and then add a link to D rings? Do you have a method to do this with D rings ?
