I LUV Gifs and have brought into many of my site designs for years but the one issue of course w most all of them is the hiccup repeat issue. My Favs are ones that are made to be seamless loops (and yes not easy to do, can only work w ideal videos but I make many that reverse back then loop from there)

I feel like a total moron, but I can't figure out how to place coloring onto the entire timeline rather than one image at a time, and no matter how I word my search, I can't find instructions for it! You can just drag the PSD filter on the very top of the layers. Let’s say it’s a group folder-drag all of that and make sure it’s at the top.

What about file size? i.e. most animated .gifs are going to the internet, so having a nice .gif is great. But if it comes out at 10mb that's not going to work. Is there a compression that has better quality vs memory? Ive tried other .gif options in photoshop and they look poor.

Could someone tell me how to stick a picture onto a gif with moving subjects? In other words, what I'm trying to do is make a meme for a discord server. It’s doable with the frame animation timeline than the video timeline. Because you can toggle the visibility of each frame layer for when the pictures will appear. You can also paste said pictures on certain frames.

It's pronounced like the peanut butter. JIFF "Why does anyone pronounce GIF with a soft G then? The creator of the GIF image format, Steve Wilhite of CompuServe, when deciding on the pronunciation, said he deliberately chose to echo the American peanut butter brand, Jif, and CompuServe employees would often say “Choosy developers choose GIF(jif)”, playing off of Jif’s television commercials. If you hear anyone pronounce GIF with a soft G, it’s because they know something of this history. If the Jif peanut butter company never existed, he would have never pronounced GIF with a soft G. Speaking of Steve Wilhite, when he explains the pronunciation of GIF, he himself has to explicitly write, “It’s pronounced ‘JIF’.” He has to explain it this way because it goes against how it would naturally be pronounced."

The first and most important question I ask about any of your tutorials is; “What is the minimum version of Photoshop needed to do this?”. You never provide that information. Just remember that most of us will not have the latest, or even a recent version of PS, so it can be a big waste or time to try these techniques and find that it cannot be done in the versions we have.
