the Green Screen choice wasn't popping up on iMovie, but then i went to preferences and clicked "show advanced tools." this video was awesome! Thank You!

Awesome intro tutorial, I had trouble making my own intro, and your tutorial was about as simple and to the point as you can get for a tutorial. I made an outro tutorial in iMovie too. Outros were easier than intros for me at first but your tutorial made it really clear. Thanks!!

Thanks, guy - you got right down to it and literally answered every question I had. Most appreciative. You're an excellent (one of the best I've watched) KZbin tutor. Bravo. Now, off to finish my movie.

THANK YOU SOO MUCH!!!!! For power point: make your animation, include the green. Open up quicktime (all macs have it built in) , file:record screen, press slideshow (in powerpoint). Play your slideshow then continue from the video :D

You have to record it for the whole time or take a clip of the logo of the recorded video and keep on inserting it into the project
@AllAboutMac2712 жыл бұрын
Yea, it is really easy in iMovie. Just add a title. And he has a lot of jump cuts, which are quick cuts to the next scene. So mabye that helps

I think so, in my opinion. However, I think the Macbook is the most popular (the one I have) because of its mobility. Obviously, it is Apple, so it is priced very high, but in my opinion, it is worth the extra money for all the time saved when using it vs a PC.

I really liked this tutorial. Couple questions: 1. Why is my text from the video pixelated and how do I sharpen that from Keynote to the import into iMovie? 2. When I have the text move down to the corner, it scrolls off the iMovie viewable screen - how do I fix that? Thanks so much!

Can you tell how to fade in and out sound in the middle of the track? Example: I added on a sound track over a video but I want this to fade to highlight what the person is saying for just 10 seconds, and that fade out again. I managed to do this by setting volume to zero and than fade in and out, but in this way the volume goes right o zero and I don't want that; I want the music to be on background. Any way to do that? thanks
@AllAboutMac2712 жыл бұрын
Well you could try to find one similar. Or just upgrade to the new version of keynote. It is like 10-15 bucks if you have the money, and you will get all the new effects!
@GrantBrewster12 жыл бұрын
Yes you can. but the default settings in imovie '09 dont include green screen. so you have to go into imovie preferences and check the box that says show advanced features

I think you are talking about cropping the video. Put your mouse over the clip, then click the gear icon. Then click cropping. Then, in the video space click allow black. This should fix what i think you are talking about

Hey there, I hope you're still following this post...thanks for putting it up by the way. I'm new to this and having trouble with one part. When you dragged your intro in it seems like it auto-sized itself to match the whole video...so your logo stayed in the bottom of the screen. Mine only lasts about 11 seconds and then dissipates...I can't seem to figure out how to keep it going for the whole video.

I'm having a lot of trouble with getting the slide to be green. I am using iWork 08 if that makes a different, but they look nearly identical. I make the box shape on the 75% zoom stage. and when I go to change the color in the fill box, I choose the light green you recommended and it makes a really deep purple. Do you have any idea what this is and how to fix it?

Hi, I want to insert a quite transparent symbol in the lower right corner, just like you did it with your name.
