You just gotta be careful, I used hot glue for the track part and i had to scrape the dried glue off the inside for like an hour just so the pieces would slide correctly.

i made the hidden blade and the crossbow 3 years ago still have it in 2022, the hidden blade is little bit crap cuz i made it first and then i made the cross bow it was perfect I'm looking at the 2 creations right now also i taped a real blade onto the hidden blade and stabbed someone in my school also today is sunday planning on bringing the crossbow in my class

Almost all of it can be purchased at a craft store. You'd need to go somewhere that sells hair stuff (Walmart, drug store, beauty supply shop) to find rubber bands that size. And anything you can't find between those places, you could get at an office supply shop.
