How are you connecting to the Mixer? When I plug into the mixer, the tone is really bad. Do I need to change speakers for my scenes?

We go right from the XLR out to the mixer. At some shows they take a feed from the AxeFX to the mixing board at the venue. At other shows they take a stereo feed from our mixer on the rack unit. I wonder if you have cab simulation turned off or something? Wish I could teleport over to where you're at and take a look and figure out for you. Is it very scratchy sounding or how would you describe the awful sound you're getting?

I’ve found the best way to eliminate high end frequencies….is in the cab hi/low pass filter or a parametric eq after the amp block…..for me, usually 100 & 6000….depending on the amp/cab ir.

Thank you for a very informative video, Marky. I cannot help wondering if perhaps there is a nice cabinet tailored for clean sound which would be flattering to the clean sound you run in parallel under the rhythm sound.

As a player who has worked in the digital realm since the 90s with the Roland VG8, I never got attached to tube amps. I think each way a player can generate sound will inspire its own creations. So certainly, nothing is like tubes. Also, nothing is like an AXE FX and so forth... If it is a catalyst for your own creativity, it is the right tool for you. Love your screen name!
