My five year old and seven year old sons are having a blast sword fighting with these. They started out as swords, then got tweeked and turned into rifles, then turned upside down and are war hammers, pick axes, and a baseball bat. Not bad for a two dollar bag of balloons and a two minute KZbin video! Thanks a lot, man, this is really fun

payton the hedghog Totally get that! It can be tricky when you first start out... could be the quality of balloons- the cheaper they are, the more they pop. If it’s not that, try staring with a little less air in the balloon- they tend to pop easy when they’re too full of air. Hope this helps!

That’s the cool thing about balloons... you can do whatever you want... you can adjust the sizing of the handle, hilt or blade. It will make a shorter blade if the handles longer, but yeah, make the size that best for you

I’m sorry to hear that! Could be the quality of the balloon... or could be from putting too much air in the balloon to begin with. If there’s too much pressure (lots of air) to start out, it’s really easy to pop it when you start twisting- every “twist” you make on a balloon pushes more air to the end of the balloon creating even more pressure in parts of the balloon that just won’t keep from popping. So, could help to try and just put less air in the next go around... Hope this helps!

Man! That’s not ideal... this is one of those skills that’s tricky at first, but gets easier in time. Can’t be sure why it’s not staying without seeing it in person, but I know if I make more than one attempt to twist the greater chance it will come undone by itself.. hope this helps!

It’s all about where you make you’re twists that will determine how long the blade of the sword will be.. plus it can depend on what type of balloon you use. I use qualatex 260s. Thanks for sharing!
