Another fun tutorial, Kellie! I think my granddaughters would enjoy making these bracelets, too! What I do at the end of the macrame is lay a large eye, collapsible needle in between the leather cords with the point towards the bracelet and macrame a couple square knots not real tight. Then put the ends of the waxed linen in the eye and pull them in between the leather cords and out, trim and put a dot of glue on. Makes a very nice, clean ending.

Thanks Lynn! One of my staff told me about that technique. I will have to give it a try!

I watched your tutorial, loved it, sat down and made two of these. They came out perfect! I'm totally hooked on these bracelets. They are addicting to make, fairly fast, very easy, relaxing, and my old brain can remember how to make them without watching the tutorial over and over. I love your tutorials and I really do appreciate that you share your knowledge and skills with the rest of us. Thank you!

I just discovered you, and I'm going back and watching some of your old videos. I'm new to jewelry making, and I love Native American jewelry with leather and turquoise. I also love macrame, so this particular technique is most appealing to me. I'm thinking of also using some colorful cords to replace the leather and do the macrame, and some of my own beads that I make from cold porcelain clay. You show me the best of all the things I love to do. I had never really thought about making bracelets, just earrings and pendants, but I think this technique could be used with some cord to make some beautiful drop earrings as well.

I guess I know what I am doing with all of the Irish waxed linen I bought today and all of the seed beads - that were on sale today :-) Thank you, Kellie. And now, I am SUPER comfy with barrel knots. Hi Kellie... My daughter and I are planning a beach trip later this summer and although I love the beach I like to keep busy while enjoying the sights and sounds of the ocean. This would be a great mother/daughter project to pack up and work on while we're there so I will definitely have to order a few of these to take along. Regarding your comment about Dusty Rose and Smoky Quartz, I love those colors too. Is it possible to get a kit with some Dusty Rose beads with a couple of other coordinating colors? I was looking at your Metallic Berry Barrel Knot Wrap bracelet... It looks like it has a strand of Dusty Rose colored beads in it. Anyway, I love the colors you used in that design too. Thanks Kellie for all the videos and for the kits. Kits make my busy life so much easier!

I don’t think elastic is the best for that bracelet. It won’t have the right drape and will likely break from too many knots.

I really love this idea but have to wonder how awesome the (new?) Tubelet beads would look; I think they’d look pretty cool and now I have an excuse to buy some, lol. I’ve never used waxed Irish linen because I’ve heard the stickiness tends to pick up a lot of everyday grime. Do you find that to be true? Also, barrel knots...I learned them from you about a month ago and use them every chance I get even when working with materials other than leather (also my favorite). Thanks for the great video!
