What a great idea! We are doing a mug rug exchange for our TOGA (Treadle On Gathering and Academy) next June. This is the perfect pattern for it! I've always had difficulties with applique and you simplified it enough for me to understand (finally!) Since my vintage machine only does the straight stitch, could I do the blanket stitch by hand?

Excellent tutorial on Heat & Bond applique, self-binding quilt, and mitered corners! I've been wanting to learn about applique work using Heat & Bond, and your tutorial was just what I needed when I needed it. Thank you so much, Nichole! 🌹
