It's a very card cute Therese. I do sometimes do a draft of a card on scrap cardstock, particularly if I am doing a lot of masking. You are right, it saves a huge amount of time if you've done the thinking part beforehand.

You could use soooo many different images or ideas / themes, it's quite a versatile pop up card, it's great to make things 'fly' if you pop them up on some acetate (a little superhero would do just fine lol). Thanks for visiting Dee, catch you back here real soon x

He will be 12 years old, so on the borderline of being too cool for school, but then I would possibly give this card to my husband (or keep it for myself) it's ageless lol. Pencils are always a great save for me after I have finished copic colouring, they add great details and shadows (and easy to control too). Hope you are having a great week Shelly!

I couldn't see a wobbler working very well, the mechanism hits the cardstock on the way up and it would mean you would have to hold it down to pop up and down. It would be fun to try an small wobbler just to see how it goes though because it would so much more to the card..... Thanks so much Paula!

5:18 So many KZbin card makers swear by the Teflon bone folder. But the only positive thing about it that I hear is that it doesn’t make the paper shiny. 🤷🏻‍♀️. My cheap plastic one, I don’t think makes the paper shiny. I don’t even know what that means really. So I’m a bit confused. I’m wondering if someone can demonstrate up close the difference between this amazing Teflon bone folder, and a cheap plastic one.

It would be difficult to 'show' on camera, do you know any other crafty friends or have a local shop that you may ask to see it or try it out? I presume the 'shiny' look just comes from the plastic being rubbed against the paper (it doesn't always happen and may depend on the cardstock that you use). But even more so I used to get 'lines' in my cardstock and no matter how hard I push with the teflon that rarely happens (only if I slip), so I know I can burnish the creases without having to concentrate on how I hold the bone folder.... not sure if that made any sense? It also makes the creases 'more crisp'. I make all my own card bases and they are 110lb so I use this bone folder all the time, if you buy premade card bases then it may not be as important I just looked at mine and I have used it sooo much that there is a 'dent in the middle' of the flat side and it still doesn't leave any lines on the cardstock lol. and I bought a spare as they can be difficult to get here in Australia (is that bad?).
