Hey there! Welcome to this tutorial on how to make a sock bun out of a sock. This easy hairstyle is great for special occasions, workouts, quick hair fix, and everyday looks! In this tutorial I'll show you how to make the classic sock bun with any sock you have around the house. We will be using a sock and something to hold the bun in place (like bobby pins or elastic band). So grab your supplies and let's get started!
Step 1: Cut off the bottom of the sock and roll it up into a long “donut”.
Step 2: Pull your hair into a high, tight ponytail.
Step 3: Place the sock donut over the ponytail and pull the ends of the hair through the center of the donut.
Step 4: Spread the hair evenly around the circumference of the sock.
Step 5: Create a coil with the hair by wrapping the ends of the hair around the coil. Add bobbypins to help secure your ends.
