The transfer fee is flat now. As of a recent commit, so by next wipe it doesn’t matter how many stacks of something you buy it will be 20 scrap. This is nice because I can sell wood now and beat the outpost if people buy lots.

Wow I never considered the implications of drones in the rust vending machines. Before as a solo player you HAVE to be a jack of all trades, but now if I just want to farm wood constantly I can do that and still just trade up for guns and ammo with that one resource

When they released the drones I really wanted to make a Minecraft profit shop with the hemp and see how it would go. Basically you would sell allot of hemp that people could than sell to bandit for you at a profit so you could for example sell 1600 cloth for 100. Early starters would be more than happy to wait for the vending machine cool down for the free 80 scrap

Yeah and there is a cap of how much cloth u can sell to bandit at once not a very good profit tbh

@@DrethPlusPlus you can. However to sell in bulk would require you to wait their a while. If you use the drones then other people already at bandit or in the area could sell it. Think about all of the nakeds hitting the barrels for an extra 2 scrap to gamble. People would definitely wait a few minutes for the vending machine trades to refresh in order to make more scrap

I got the idea from Minecraft skyblock. Most servers the meta is to make afk sugar cane farms then sell the cane in your shop for cheaper than you could sell it yourself to the server(via /sell hand). this way while your sleeping instead of your chest overfilling with sugar cane other people would be selling it for you. For example let's say you can sell sugar cane for $10. You would sell it to others for 8 or 9 bucks. While you had spare time you could sell it yourself and make a bigger profit. In general it's a better use of your time to just add more layers to the farm however.

I like how people pretend taculaar is legit. Dude has never released a cam of himself playing, is relatively new to streaming rust and has no noticeable kicks with his spray, ever. It hurts the eyes when he swap from him to his teamates. It's not that they're bad it's that he has 0 recoil.

He has done multiple hand cams and has been around since legacy, uploading consistently for years on KZbin. If you don't believe he is legit I don't care (believe what you want), but he has kick if you watch enough of his content, he just has a low sensitivity and mastery of spray. That is what is possible after 10k+ hours.

i'v found that the tea's never get bought and always raided for. even if you hqm the vending machine, the amount of sulf you can farm with just 1 pure ore tea makes up for the 15 rocket raid 10 fold. let alone if you have more then 1 and or max health teas in the vending machine. no one wants advanced teas it's pure or nothing. if you try to sell advanced they will never get bought or raided but if you sell pure it will just get raided. i don't really see a point for selling teas people just always raid it

I set up a shop where I sold workbenches t2 and t3 for sulfur and then used the sulfur profits to get more t2s and 3s from raiding worked really well to make most raids more profitable

Hey Tamura, I have a question in your opinion is it worth to build any type of farm on a weekly server? By the way on the server that I am playing there is unlimited stock for vending machines which means at the bandit trade in that is cloth for scrap it never runs out of stock or it never has a timer. For unlimited stock yes, if you plan on playing for 3+ days and can get the farm down day 1 or mid day 2. Try it out and the answer should become clear.

Just search up "Tesla Rust" and go to his channel he has 100k subs and then go to one of his videos then there will be a discord link in the description. (btw it is rare that minis spawn on the road.)

Really nice video, as apart from all you said. We need to add that selling unique item's are really good. Example: Sofa, Deluxe Christmas lighting, Chinese lattern, hobo Barrel, fireworks. These items get sells a lot Specially for RP players.

I sold bps early wipe. I farmed a ton of scrap thanks to my tea farm . I'm now selling scrap for things that can help me build stuff for big groups such as full armored kits that are skinned, ak's, explosives, c4, and rockets, and I trade them in bulk for m2's and l9's. So there is almost a progression to the market in Rust as groups and players evolve. I haven't done a single large monument and I have a lot of cool guns and gear.

@@Lucasgklg Completely setting aside the fact that there are new players flocking by the thousands, I've sold I'd say at least one per wipe (average. Sometimes none, occasionally 2 or 3 to one person). Never through vending machine, but typically to either someone who is new, or a role player who doesn't want to touch the BP system. I did specify community not official. Never seen that on official, but the amount of roleplayers on community is stupid. I never throw them out just in case.

Thanks for the idea, we're gonna try it, selling sulfur and frags for ores. One thing that came into my friends' mind is placing vending machine on the roof, so it's only accesible through the drones and more safe against raiding.
