I love doing incline dyes, but I had a very hard time getting our small cube filtered ice machine ice to stay on the incline, because the cubes are so dense. I use two hemostats on the bottom of my rack before putting the rain gutter in the bin, to hold the gutter once I have it assemble it on my table. I construct the dye powder and ice on my table, then I use aluminum foil in two pieces over the gutter, and use several hemostats to hold the foil over the gutter,. Then I move the gutter over to the bin. The foil holds the ice in place. Our ice is so dense, sometimes, I have to use a mallet to smash the ice into smaller pieces to keep the weight down. Thank you for excellent videos. Your very good instructions have made me improve my tie dyes very quickly.

Keeping the ice on is a challenge sometimes. Putting foil over the top is a great idea to keep it in place though. I'm glad you're enjoying the videos. Thank you for watching!

Did you do the first two colours as liquids so you could control them more? This is the most beautiful cross tie dye I have seen so I really want to give it a try!

I usually just leave it alone. You can cover it if you would like to though.

Which color is the Wisteria? I put Wisteria on a shirt and it was invisible!

Wisteria is a really light color. There isn't a lot of it showing on this shirt. It is the purplish type color right at the edge of the shirt. I used it on a shirt recently and it basically disappeared for me too. If you want a purple color showing, I would choose another color other than Wisteria.
