I'm amazed that you think this is easy. It would make me cry and want to tear my hair out ,fiddling about with that wiggly fabric. That just proves how skilled and talented you are.

Jenny Corey It just takes practice, if you really want to make it, don't give up!
@LomisPlayground7 жыл бұрын
Yes, practice! Everything is hard the first time you do it, it'll just get easier and easier as you go. :)

Late to the party... spray it with a starch stabilizer fabric spray. Make sure it easily washes out after sewing. This won't make it impossible to stretch but will stiffen it up alot and will help

This is beautiful!!!! Thank you again for sharing with us!!! I have four dolls for 2 years and I've never bought anything for them. I have to make it. So when you share your tutorials it means alot !!
@LomisPlayground7 жыл бұрын
I completely understand!! That's why I do it :) I've only ever bought one pair of doll pants, and they aren't even the right size so I shouldn't keep them. Mostly I feel like I'd prefer to make things rather than buy them, but I know buying isn't always an option for some people!

My first BJD is shipping to me right now. I've been watching your videos and Dollightful's. Dollightful's videos make me feel like I can work out a way to create any design I come up with, and your videos make me feel like I can actually create that design if I try hard enough. I'm so excited! Thank you for your informative, down-to-earth videos.

So.. I have been looking all over for a tutorial for an infinity dress.. this may be for dolls. But I'm going to use the measurement ratios for myself.
@LomisPlayground6 жыл бұрын
I sure hope it works for you! Same basic idea, really. :)

I just can't work out how you kept the small zigzag stitch so accurately on the edge of the fabric..SOS - please can you give me advice on this. Thank you so much.
@LomisPlayground3 жыл бұрын
Part of it is practice, but part is that you don't have to be perfectly accurate. If you set your stitch width to the widest setting, it'll roll up the edge no matter how much or how little you catch with the needle :) Even a single thread of the fabric caught is enough. It evens it all out on its own.

@@LomisPlayground Thank you so much... That's a comfort to know - I will keep practising.

I'm gonna try making one for Pullips. I hope it won't look weird on a 27 cm obitsu (since short clothes look better on them) but I made a hakama once and it looked good for a long outfit... I just can't get my hands on a stretchy fabric. I just found your channel and I really love your sewing tutorial so far ❤

Hi may I know what sewing machine did you use?
@toocoldtobother72716 жыл бұрын
I recently discovered I'm better at handsewing than machine (I can tread it to save my life) althought I only just learned the basics of handsewing so...
@LomisPlayground6 жыл бұрын
Machines definitely aren't for everyone. I feel like I'm much better with machine, but I think part of that may be because I'm impatient and it's faster! 😂

2:22 I see an antXD
@LomisPlayground7 жыл бұрын
Yep XD My photobombing guest! Now that it's snowing they aren't active, but come spring I'll re-caulk the garden window so they can't sneak in during cold weather anymore. ^^;

Lomi's Playground Ah we get ants all the time too, they're such pests.
@LomisPlayground7 жыл бұрын
They're a bit annoying when they sneak in, come wintertime, but there's not too much you can do. Bugs are everywhere on earth, so we have to share our space whether we like it or not! I'm looking forward to them returning to their own space in the spring, though. There's nothing for them on my desk!

If u can't do the stitching to make the bottom curl like lomi's has....u could do the same sort of stitching but make the stitches a little wider depending on how u want the ruffles to look....but that's just my idea.....something I'm gonna try out once my shoulder heals up fully
