I loved your tutorial! Thank you so much. I am new to knitting by machine. I was tearing my hair out because the instructions don’t tell you to use spare yarn first then project yarn! I had great success thank you making the infinity scarf. I love that you are using Australian terms & the yarn I can easily buy from Aussie stockists. Well done! Big fan here!

Knitting a scarf in an hour? I think I need one of those machines... It usually takes me weeks or months to get a scarf done, depending on the pattern! Granted, my current project is a woven cable stitch, which a machine couldn't do, but still... For all the simpler projects it sounds brilliant!

Hi there, thank you for your knitting tutorials, they are really well described. I have a question. I love the easy and how quick the machine does the work for us but i personally prefer if the stiches are tight together. In this and the hat tutorial i noticed that the stiches are alittle too loose more my preference. Can you change that with the machine.. Like is it capable of making the stitches tighter? Or is it all about the with of the yarn?
@Katieree3 жыл бұрын
Hey there! Thanks so much for watching 🥰 You can absolutely change the tension on the machine but it does also depend on the yarn you use. This scarf was made using a (very thin) 8 ply. I actually prefer the look of the 10 ply which does give you a tighter looking stitch and nicer finish in my opinion 😊
@knittingnana29393 жыл бұрын
I have the sentro and I agree about the dk weight yarn. Caron simply soft works great in it as well. Other 4 ply yarn , not so much.

Hi! I know this was three years ago, but I have a question that I hope you can answer. My mom bought me really thick yarn, wool yarn, for the same machine that you're using. Will it work if I have it on the loosest tension? (The third hole, farthest from the machine)

The join would look so much better using a mattress stitch. That way you are joining the stiches rather than stitching them. If that makes sense. What I am trying to say is that a mattress stitch would look more natural I guess.

Hi Maryann, You will remove the waste yarn at the end once you have secured all the stitches. You can either pull it undone or cut it off. Whatever works for you 😊
