When you got how big you wanted it how didyou finish the string on the end side of it? Did you tie it like you did the beginning of it? I'm using this for my daughter's party next month. You made it seem soo simple verse other ones i have seen.

Robyn Bolton Hi Robyn! Thanks for the compliment. I usually do my balloon garlands the night before. Depending on the temperature in your house will dictate whether or not your balloons will lose air. Usually if my clients allow me to do it the night before, I always tell them to keep their house cool at 78 degrees Fahrenheit or lower. Anything above that may cause the balloons deflate. But I would recommend practicing with dollar store balloons before the baby shower. Good luck 🙃

Some people do prefer to use the balloon strip. I like using the fishing wire; I have more control over the balloon garland when I use the fishing wire vs. the strip. But use whatever works for you 🤗

That’s a great question. It’s just my preference. The balloon tape doesn’t hold my balloons tightly. This is an old video, if you look at my recent videos of doing balloon garlands I usually explain why. Hope this helps

What is the standard size used even tho i see 12” what size is the balloon is blown up to? A 9 or 8? I think I’m doing something wrong it’s hard to manipulate the balloons maybe it may still be to large even with roundness 🤔

12 inch balloons are the standard and I don’t measure the balloons after they’re blown up because I want an organic feel to the garland

When you combine the balloons with the fishing wire, be sure to not do so tight. This way you can turn balloon garland at any point that fits your stand. I hope this helps!

@@JustineJordanCreative i did however i think it was too thin as i got tangled in it and kept losing it because i couldn’t see it even with glasses so i ordered what you used from amazon because there’s no Walmart in Brooklyn and the lines at Walmart in queens was outrageous i tried it with balloon string. I have to master this before my daughters gender reveal & baby shower god willingly if nothing else gets shut fine by then. I’ve been buying quality balloons but been practicing on $1 tree and family dollar balloons and would take pics bevies i dismantle them to recuse or pop them then view pics to see my progress. I don’t mind spending however $800 for a 3 color garland with no set up and delivery is not in my budget especially in this economic time and that money could go to a stroller and crib 🤷🏽‍♀️

It usually doesn't topple over! But you can always add weights or sandbags on the bottom of the stand to ensure they don't fall...especially if you use it outside! I had to learn my lesson the hard way this past weekend 😩😩

That's a really great question and I've done a circle backdrop before but my camera died so I never got the chance to record it. I wouldn't use fishing wire; I would create clusters out of 4 balloons and then attach around the pole in a similar way I did when I created this balloon column: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJ6tfYyKm7eJZrs I'm thinking about recreating the circle backdrop in the near future.
