Appreciate the vid. Ottoman looks great for a quick build and employs skills appropriate for a video of this length. The maker likely has a ton of ideas on how this build could be adjusted to add quality. Anyone actually making the ottoman may want to round all of their cuts so the 90 degree edges wont wear down the fabric and padding as much over time. Foam should likely stand proud of wood so as to pad the edge circumferentially on top. Leg weight during use will, over time, really wear those edges otherwise. Drilling out the centers of all the vertical supports could reduce weight without weakening the overall design--should anyone find that necessary. Also, Id consider doubling up on the ring bit Substitute the second ring for the square feet at the bottom. Would make the overall profile more vertically symmetrical--as well as hide those unsightly staples. 360 deg rubber/silicone padding on bottom could provide serious sticking power on hardwood flooring All this being said, the builder did nothing wrong and this video is awesome. 5 stars. And may the ideas and feedback spark even more comments & conversation!

The 'ring at the bottom' idea would be a perfect opportunity to create some grooves the wood and drop in some bearings in a circle to make the unit spin. I haven't thought the exact design all the way through, but maybe just posting this will encourage some else to do so. Would love to see finished product
