Not sure if you’re into Them or not Musically but Slipknots original Drummer Joey Jordison recently passed away, it would be awesome if you made a Jason mask in the style of his.

here's a tip for the next time you're making blood: instead of using purple, mix a little bit of brown in there. You'll get a much more realistic color
@BigHush3 жыл бұрын
I've done that before. I love how this blood turned out, but "how dark the blood should be" is an endless argument online. lol. I personally don't care for it to be super dark, but that's just my preference.
@541systamatik5412 жыл бұрын
I always use a little clear flow additive with the paint for the blood. It gives it that slight transluscence.
@jamesoblivion3 жыл бұрын
Looks great! For shading and blending, I use makeup sponges. They're cheap, and have a perfect texture for edge blending. And adjustable elastic straps are super easy and cheap to make. About three bucks a set. Great work again, and thanks for getting me into hock painting!
@patrickkarrow2 жыл бұрын
Even with all your setbacks, this mask turned out amazing!!! That blood splatter looks perfect, and is super realistic!

Nice hush, came out great, I ordered a fiberglass Jason x and had to sand it down and repaint it. Also love the voice over work on the videos.
@acledfloyd3 жыл бұрын
Next time you work with 3D printed things you can get filler primer. It still needs a lot of sanding but it helps get rid of those lines faster.

I love this design, turned out really well. I had a nightmare doing a white Crow style mask. Got to the first layer of clear coat and it turned the entire mask yellow. That one traumatised me so bad I haven't risked trying it again!
@the-aspiring-creator42493 жыл бұрын
That looks really cool. For all the pain you went through to get this thing made, that's really neat. I also really the solution to the lack of a backplate which makes me think, maybe you could consider doing something like a transition mask where it's Jason's mask in-between changing from the regular base hockey mask to the Uber Jason mask.
@rayjaxstv3 жыл бұрын
I like the voice over you should do that more often

If you’re looking for something to fill in the holes like near that top left side strap, wood filler putty is excellent at filling gaps and is as hard as most plastics, I used it to fill holes in a clone helmet and repair cracks in a jason mask. For blood splatter exactly where you want you can use a straw and take just a bit of paint in the end and blow through it.

so big BIG thing thatll help you out TREMENDOUSLY when working with 3d prints, is Bondo. You said you had a hard time working with sanding down the 3d print, and theres a reason for that. you cant. so to counter that, use automotive filler primer and auto motive bondo spot putty, it looks like red tooth paste. fill it up, wipe that stuff everywhere and it sands down smooth, super easy, so you can feel free to use ALOT of it.
