Can't you, after pulling off the decoration, access the hole that the gear rack locks into, and just push it in? That way you can trivially open the safe (and take it apart afterwards for good measure).

good point. If i made it again I would use a gear rack with a 1x1 plate attached so it can only go out a certain amount so you cant pull on it

@@puzzLEGO sorry I didn't mean pull it out, I meant push it in, the same motion as when opening the safe the intended way. You can't prevent that movement, so you gotta block access to the gear rack from outside.

@@puzzLEGO If you build it slightly bigger, you would have room to put plates or bricks along the inside that would cover the gear rack from the outside and would be unable to be removed when the safe was closed.

The tiles on the inside are stopping me from pulling the safe apart but the only way to move the tiles is if the drawer wasn’t there so the only way to open the safe is to remove the drawer first
