You should also etch a code to identify your trailer if it's ever stolen. Some place not obvious but easy enough to point the cops towards and take a picture when it's done.

I have the same trailer for my self and I will tell you its really the best investment I have. I move everything with it with my Terrain. I'm limited to 1500lbs but that is what I can tow anyway. I just took it camping to haul my gear for two families and it did well. I've had mine for 5 years now. I did build up wall on mine with pressure treated wood up to the rear gate high so I can stack higher. Painted it all black to match. Get spray paint with rust protection and convertor built in and stray the heck out of it to protect it. Its worth at the end of the day. The other mods I did to mine were LED lights all the way around and bearing buddies to keep the bearings greased at all times.

I have this exact trailer with wood deck and I can't get anyone to rent it for even $50. They're renting all over marketplace for $50 max in my area. I also bought a 5x8 enclosed to rent for $60 and no bites. Everyone rents trailers out. Not an easy business to make money.

Just bought a 4x8 for my church camp that had boards over the wire mesh. Boards were starting a little bit of rot so you can imagine there was a little Surface rust on the wire mesh but not much more than what you’ve got there. I say go for it. Excited to see what you come up with for walls on your trailer because ours at the camp is used to haul trash to the dumpster and the old one had walls.

That trailer new at TSC was 999.00 as of yesterday, the same trailer with the wood bed was 1199.00 also, just a FYI. Thought I’d let you know since I was walking there lot looking at them yesterday, but that was a smoking deal that I would have bought in a second myself!

I got a free 19ft duel axel camper trailer frame for free from my contractor buddy who also gave me a pallets worth of free 2x6 boards. I think I probably have maybe $100 invested in it , but so far I’ve made a ton of money from it. Hopefully next month I’m gonna buy some angle iron and make side walls becaue I got 2x6 walls temporary just to get me out to make money. You got a good deal on that little trailer too

You have to consider the area that you live in!! Would work better in high population areas! In one part of the country you may be able to rent it for $100 a day and other parts $30 let's be realistic and don't leave information out! I like the comment we're the one guy said why would you rent it out for 75 when you can rent at U-Haul for $30??

Just take some boards and sink some hex bolts in them with washers to hold them down. Better yet use a spade bit to start a hole and give you a recess for the bolt, and finish the holes with a normal drill bit to put the bolts through. Nuts bolts and washers and boom.
