Thanks for the great tips! My favourite season is summer. I love the lazy days in the sun (well, under a tree or gazebo), the smell of barbecuing, and not having to worry about bundling up to go outside.

Your plushies are adorable. Congratulations on such a successful market! Thank you for all you information, I love your signs. Winter is my favorite season, it's actually difficult for me to pick because Autumn is such a close second. I live in the midwest and while I don't enjoy shoveling snow, I love the quietness of it. It has a beauty with its limited colors and feeling of expectations.

I sell the smaller loaf cats (made with Posh) for $20 and the large ones for $45 using Bernet blanket. They sell like mad! Orange, Black, and White ones sell the best.
@TheCelestialHomebodyКүн бұрын
@@SecretWindowBoutique interesting that your orange cats sell well! They were my least selling ones aside from all white. I’m sure it just depends on the clientele at the market since most people want a loaf cat that looks like their real cat. The tuxedo cats are for sure my best seller!

Wonderful insight! I feel like the medium you're using is another reason it moved so well. You was one other craftsperson doing the same thing, and I know I don't see anything like this anywhere around Jackson. Hundreds of thousands of art prints, but much fewer - yet much more expensive - physical 3d interactable crafts. I'd expect to see most of the things you sold here for easily double the price online, personally. I know your work, and it's all made with so much love. Also, I'm with you on Autumn, now that I live in a place that has more than 1 season per year!
@TheCelestialHomebody6 күн бұрын
@@arnoldberry9431 I have wanted a 3D printer for a while, but you’re so right… there is SO much market saturation in that space. By the time I surpass the learning curve and get my bearings with it, I doubt that medium will be desirable. It was important to us to move to a place that experienced all 4 seasons which is why we love the Midwest! And hey… if you don’t like a season, it will be over in a few weeks! I can stand the humid summers knowing fall is right around the corner!

Beautiful items! I am concerned your prices are way too low. Are you sure you’re profitable after factoring in supplies and all materials? Other than your chicken nuggets, your prices are about half of what they should be. Also, keeping in mind signs you made and all market supplies should also be factored into your prices. Sorry, not trying to be mean just trying to help based on experience. You and your craft are so much more valuable than this. ❤
@TheCelestialHomebodyКүн бұрын
@@valeriem.5938 Thank you so much! 🩵🩵🩵 I live in a super rural farm town where this market took place, so I priced my items in a way that I knew people here would be able to afford. However, I do plan on vending at some larger conventions and festivals this year and will definitely be raising prices a tad. I don’t calculate pricing for items based on materials because I have SO much yarn so it’s like the money is already gone 😅 I usually calculate prices based on time. I pay myself $15 per hour but I’ll charge extra if I hated making it. You’re right- they are low!
