How to Make Beaded Spiral Ornaments

I have a newbie question...if seed beads aren't marked in a package, how do I know their size? I keep reading a 6/0, 11/0, etc and all I now is that I have really small seed beads, lol. Please help.

Hi Mae! Great question, happy to help. The basic concept of seed beads is the larger the number, the smaller the bead (opposite of beads/gemstones). They range in size, from smallest to largest: 15/0 - 11/0 - 8/0 - 6/0. So 15/0 are the smallest and 6/0 is the largest. A 6/0 seed bead is around 3-4mm. In this video on the white ornament with the chain, those green seed beads are 15/0...the blue ornament are 8/0 seed beads💞. Hope this helps!
