How to make Blackberry wine

If you follow my Instagram or Twitter you will know I've recently begun homebrewing and we had a great crop of fruit in the garden this year so are making several fruit wines
The bargain fermenting bucket is from amazon;

Ingredients:
3lb (1.36kg) of blackberries a.k.a. brambles
3lb (1.36kg) of sugar
8 pints (4.5l) of boiling water
1tsp pectolase
1 tsp brewers yeast and nutrient blend
* apologies for the typo should say 68-77°F *
This will make one gallon (4.5l) of blackberry wine around 12% ABV but will vary slightly depending on the yeast you use and the sugar content of the berries.

Before we had the kids I used to brew my own wine and larger and loved it. The kids have gone now and I retired last -Friday.......Hmmm, I think I have an idea! Thanks Roo! Cheers Alan

We get loads round here but have used up all we had foraged now as we've started homebrewing Luckily I discovered farmfoods which is dirt cheap for a year round supply! 👍
