I totally agree on this one! You go to your local gaming store and see loads of kids playing space marine armies, you go to your gaming club and see loads a people playing a variety of 40k, you go onto KZbin and see loads of 40k batreps!!!! Please lets have some fantasy!

I love the way this comes together. The method in the top corner explains it perfectly; as most of the initial techniques of "papier mâché" are taught in primary school, I don't understand some of the negative comments. The musical accompaniment is fine for this as the only other thing that could have happened would have been constant narration - and what can you say about it that can't be seen and read. A great video, thank you. As a military modeller, I am starting to get a lot of respect for war-gamers watching these videos as a lot of ideas can be used in the stuff I build too.

In This Video: 2 people with ADD gradually list off materials over the course of 6 minutes. Then through the art of video editing the entire process of creating terrain is displayed in 1st person view with all further distractions and digressions omitted.

base it self is plasti-card or plastic card, most hobby shops should have it. or art supplies i believe. depending on the size and type changes the price i think. you can also go to hardware stores and buy something like tac-board which is like a cardboardish panel but needs a saw/bandsaw to cut

paint on a layer of gloss varnish to finish off the molten metal pools... it does a great different!

Great tutorial, though I'm a little sad that you added the molten rock effect at the end. Not that it doesn't look great; it does. However, the way the wreck was painted implied that the vehicle had been out there awhile, so the blazing hot crater seemed out of place.
