The blue color does not tolerate high temperatures, so magnesium is not used in formulations with blue color, or very very little is added. Due to high temperatures, the spectrum shifts to red-orange. And not all copper salts are suitable for producing blue. Although I used to make blue on copper and magnesium salts, the current had blue veins, and the fire was orange

2 things I’d like to say you could still use dextrin as binder regardless of there being charcoal in the comp and also that’s pvc pipe won’t work pvc pipe only has a small percentage of polyvinyl chloride
@PraetzelProjects4 жыл бұрын
KAYLEB_HD yeah I did just realize the dextrin thing but it is a binder that works best with water and I’m not sure I’m going to use water. Yeah I figured that the pvc was not what I hoped Thanks for the info that helps a lot :)
@KAYLEBHD4 жыл бұрын
Praetzel Projects yeah makes sense I’d use a alcohol binder aswell
@PraetzelProjects4 жыл бұрын
KAYLEB_HD do you think that the copper sulphate is safe to use? I just don’t want a catastrophe I haven’t heard of it reacting with any of these substances but you never know.
@KAYLEBHD4 жыл бұрын
Praetzel Projects it should be safe as long as there is no known reactions/ side reactions but I’m probably not the best to ask for that as I’ve never worked with it before
@PraetzelProjects4 жыл бұрын
KAYLEB_HD I think it’s fine as long as there is no potassium chlorate

Firework Tutorials in conjunction with the barium sulfate is how I got it to work so well
@FireworkTutorials4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, but that’s ruff is relatively cheap as well.
@PraetzelProjects4 жыл бұрын
Firework Tutorials that’s right I think I’m onto something I can’t wait for my aluminum to be done milling (my family gets annoyed by the noise so I don’t mill 24/7) so I can’t experiment further

Try magnesium aluminum alloy.

Nice, I would love to see a blue star once you have perfected the mixture. I have tried countless times trying to make a blue star with copper sulfate

Hey there, I know it`s been a while ago since you uploaded this video....but have you figured out what are the exact proportions of each chemical/ingredient?
@PraetzelProjects9 ай бұрын
lol yeah i wish, i could probably figure it out, but my honest advice crappy as it is is to bite the bullet and place an online order of the proper ingredients, we live in the digital age and $200 will get you a several year supply depending on how much you make.

How about green fireworks without barium salts? Like boric acid maybe
@PraetzelProjects3 жыл бұрын
Won’t work, if you are thinking of adding it to methanol it is not the boric acid making it green, but a reaction creating boric trimethyl ester which burns blue. I mean you could spend a lot more money and use cesium.

Is it possible with lead nitrates as an oxidizer and copper oxide with some fuel and chlorine donor??....

Can i use instead Copper Sulfate Barium Sulfate If i Want the color Green? And when will Part two come?
@PraetzelProjects3 жыл бұрын
I used both in these tests. But yes, you would need to experiment. I have tested some new formulas with aluminum with little luck, and most of my pyro time will be dedicated to the 4th now, soon but likely this summer. Thanks for your interest!

do you already have an approximate mix of color stars?
