Is the fabric piece cut on the bias?

Perhaps not on the bias, or it would have stretch from the weave grid being diagonal

Yeah I have a singer curvy & I hate it. It makes so many mistakes, dosnt sew straight, the thread bunches up in the back😡 it’s not a good machine to start on🤔 j told my husband to get me a better one for Christmas😉 I thought it would be fun but it’s frustrating🙄
