I'm just getting into Botanica and it's nice to finally see a video on it that wasn't made 7 months ago because I was getting nervous that maybe it was only a thing 7 months ago and not a thing anymore 😆

reminds me of some Tekken songs. Mainly Tekken 7 stuff, I think, where they blend acoustic guitar with these electronic elements and sampling. I didn't know this genre was a thing. Pretty cool demo!

When I think about Botanica structure I see it as a Hamburger. Main instrument surrounded by tonal fx and non-tonal fx.

I love this tutorial it's actually so nice to see the thought process behind this! One question of mine is I keep seeing people on youtube adjust little curves in a sound on the playlist like how you did on the pads for the swells, what is this and how do I do it?
@architecturaI10 күн бұрын
if im not wrong its a feature for FL21 and up, if you look at the top right of the playlist. You'll see a waveform icon, a automation icon, and a piano roll icon. click on the waveform icon, and click the icon that has two curved lines bisecting each other. And then at every sound that you drag onto the playlist, you'll see triangles on the top left and right of that sound. Just click em and drag to the desired length. these basically help make those swooping sounds for swells. Thanks for watching!

its ok! you don't really need them as all you'd need really is novel school supplies, any "glitch with friends" soundpack, a granulator and a vocoder. i recommended those plugins bc they are actually good for making botanica

@@Stilwuf yes sadly the best plugins are all locked behind a paywall :( but i tried my best to use built-in plugins to showcase that its possible to make botanica without selling a leg. And regarding soundpacks and drumpacks, novel school supplies and glitch with friends soundpacks are free! ^^ You don't need to buy my drumkit to make botanica, but those 2 I said earlier are perfect for botanica
@noThankyou-g5c21 күн бұрын
soothe2 can be free :D granted the cracked version is buggy and will crash every now and then so i suggest to only use it either to resample if ur using it for effects and at the final stage of mixing with audio only stems if you’re using it for mixing/ spectral sidechaining

Keep up the work bro but guitar and piano aint percussive instruments they actually both string instruments because there is strings inside the piano being triggered by so called hammers when you press the key on the piano and with the guitar it’s obvious do your research gang bless
